Welcome to LingVitae
LingVitae, a Scandinavian life science research company, is currently developing a portable DVD platform utilizing microfluidic disks for cost-efficient DNA sequencing for the medium throughput market, and molecular diagnostics purposes. With innovative technology LingVitae is piggybacking on over 30 years of DVD development (disks and drive) to utilize existing integrated and validated technology for biological detection with minimal requirements for customization. This strategy based on existing mass production lines allows us to develop assays at low-cost levels to end users, without compromising on performance. In addition, the digital format of the device provides means for direct cloud reporting via the drive’s mobile network connection, enabling position tracking and epidemiological research. With user-friendly software and a small instrument footprint, the user can lock-and-load his sample, walk away and have the results ready to go.
